چکیده

Abstract. Using the numerical unrestricted Hartree-Fock approach, we study the ground state of a twoorbital model describing newly discovered FeAs-based superconductors. We observe the competition of a (0, π) mode spin-density wave and the superconductivity as the doping concentration changes. There might be a small region in the electron-doping side where the magnetism and superconductivity coexist. The superconducting pairing is found to be spin singlet, orbital even, and mixed sxy + dx2−y2 wave (even parity).

Multiband magnetism and superconductivity in Fe-based compounds

Recent discovery of superconductivity in Fe-based layered compounds may have opened a new pathway to the room temperature superconductivity. A model Hamiltonian describing FeAs layers is introduced, highlighting the crucial role of puckering of As atoms in promoting d electron itinerancy and warding off large local-moment magnetism of Fe ions, the main enemy of superconductivity. Quantum many-p...

Switching Magnetism and Superconductivity with Spin-Polarized Current in Iron-Based Superconductor.

We explore a new mechanism for switching magnetism and superconductivity in a magnetically frustrated iron-based superconductor using spin-polarized scanning tunneling microscopy (SPSTM). Our SPSTM study on single-crystal Sr_{2}VO_{3}FeAs shows that a spin-polarized tunneling current can switch the Fe-layer magnetism into a nontrivial C_{4} (2×2) order, which cannot be achieved by thermal excit...

Energy-scale phenomenology and pairing via resonant spin-charge motion in FeAs, CuO, heavy-fermion and other exotic superconductors

Muon spin relaxation (μSR) studies of the “1111” and “122” FeAs systems have detected static magnetism with variably sized ordered moments in their parent compounds. The phase diagrams of FeAs, CuO, organic BEDT, A3C60 and heavy-fermion systems indicate competition between static magnetism and superconductivity, associated with first-order phase transitions at quantum phase boundaries. In both ...

Experimental aspects of Alpha, Beta angles distortion on superconductivity in 1111-type Iron-based superconductor

In this research, we aim to clarify the relationship between the structural distortion due to doping and the superconductivity existence in the FeAs4 structure. For this, we have prepared polycrystalline of NdFeAsO0.8F0.2, NdFeAs0.95Sb0.05O0.8F0.2 and Nd0.99Ca0.01FeAsO0.8F0.2 samples by one-step solid state reaction method. The structural and electrical properties of the samples were characteri...

High-temperature superconductivity in iron-based materials

The surprising discovery of superconductivity in layered iron-based materials, with transition temperatures climbing as high as 55K, has led to thousands of publications on this subject over the past two years. Although there is general consensus on the unconventional nature of the Cooper pairing state of these systems, several central questions remain — including the role of magnetism, the nat...
